This is not a charity#

Kestrel Exams is published by Kestrel Exams LLC, a small Georgia limited liability company run by one person. It is a for-profit company, not a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

• Money you send is voluntary support for a free study site. It is not a tax-deductible charitable contribution, and we will never send you a receipt that says it is.
• It is income to Kestrel Exams LLC.
• Supporting is entirely optional. Nothing on the site is locked, and nothing ever will be, whether or not you give.

What it pays for#

Hosting and domain names, the tools used to build and check the material, and the time to write new courses and guides and to keep thousands of practice questions accurate. Every code example in our programming guides is compiled and run before it is published, and new pages go through an independent review. That checking is most of the work.

What it does not buy#

Anything. No amount changes what a guide, course or question says, which tools or products we mention, or how we describe them. We do not accept money from companies whose products or exams we teach about in return for coverage of any kind.

If any single supporter ever accounts for 5% or more of what the site receives in a year, we will name them on this page.

Your privacy#

The Support button is an ordinary link to PayPal’s own website. No payment code runs on kestrelexams.com, and we never see your card details. If you follow the link, PayPal’s privacy policy applies on their site, not ours. PayPal shares your name and email address with us as the recipient; we use them only for our own records and never add you to a mailing list. See our privacy policy.

Other ways to help, all free#

Tell a classmate or a coworker about a guide that helped you. Use the share buttons on any guide or app. And when something on the site is wrong or unclear, tell us at support@kestrelexams.com. Several of our guides exist because somebody asked.
